Keeping Your Car Clean This New Year -Catchie Concepts Simple Tips January 6, 2017 09:21

We love hearing all our customers new goals even if its just being able to get yourself up an extra half hour earlier.

On this post we are going to show you a few tips to keep your car clean this year!

Keeping your trunk clean, and filled with necessities.

Have you driven somewhere and had a kid ask for a snack, water, or what about a natural disaster its always good to have a few items in your car. This trunk organizer is ideal for all car owners. You can put a flashlight, extra water, store your groceries, maybe a change of clothes and or an extra jacket?

Keeping your car clean with older kiddos:

Do you have kids out of car seats? Check out this great item that will help when you are on the go. This is a back seat organizer. Some parents chose this one for little ones however its difficult for them to put items back (they should not be able to reach the back of the seat when properly strapped in car seat) and it most of the time ends up on floor. However with older kids this is ideal for iPods, Earphones, books, snacks etc. And lets be realistic trash ; ) !

Keeping your car organized with your toddler.

The Catchie is ideal for keeping everything off the car floor. This is because as we all know little ones are not always the greatest about keeping everything where it needs to go in a car and when they don't want something....they drop it. They are actually professional mess makers, its amazing! The Catchie catches the items with the waterproof top (so no worries when the sippy cup falls). The Catchie also is wipes down easy for quick clean up. Think of all that time you will save!

Keeping up on the front seats.

We all know how great wipes are, lets remember how great they are for wiping down the car during red lights and when the kid is sleeping in the car giving us a few minutes to clean up quietly. Its great to always have a box of wipes available in the car, easy for messes, dusting, and well everything!

And lets not forget the gaps in between the seats that seem to have everything fall into them! Nothing like trying to stick your hand down there to get the cell phone, or what about when you drop food and try to get the vacuum in fun. This is a great product to help reduce the seat messes!

Quick tips for cleaning up messes:

Dirty Cloth seats?

Clean water spots and stains from your cloth car seats! Just add equal parts of club soda, white vinegar, and blue dawn dish soap. Mix into a spray bottle and generously spray on seats. Scrub with a scrub brush and then rub with a clean towel or rag! Simple, easy, and cheap!!!!!!

Dirty floor mats?

Have a dishwasher throw them in there (make sure to clean off the junk first) then simply toss them into the can even thrown in hubcaps if you got them!

Black greasy streaks at the bottom of your car’s sidewalls?

Use a paste made from cream of tartar with a drop or two of dish soap.  Scrub those on the black marks and they will disappear.

We would love to hear what hacks you have!
